The Extension and Community Services Unit (ECSU) of the Aklan State University is the forerunner in the University’s efforts to reach out to people who are in need of knowledge, skills, attitudes, values, and opportunities for quality education, sustainable agriculture, enterprise development, health and social welfare.

1. To package and disseminate appropriate technologies;

2. To empower the stakeholders to sustain community development in the service areas of the university;

3. To strengthen strategic partnership with local government units, government and non-government organizations; and

4. To collaborate with research and development, training and ICT services for effective and efficient delivery of extension services.
